Paul Delvaux

De Belgische kunstenaar Paul Delvaux (1897-1994) hanteert een mysterieuze en poëtische beeldtaal. Verschillende kunststromingen als het expressionisme, symbolisme en surrealisme zijn er in verenigd. Hieronder een aantal schilderijen uit de tentoonstelling "Paul Delvaux, Meester van de Droom" in de Kunsthal Rotterdam (2017/2018).

Belgian artist Paul Delvaux worked with a poetical and mysterious visual language in which elements from a variety of art movements, such as expressionism, symbolism and surrealism, are combined. The paintings here are from the exhibition "Paul Delvaux, Master of the Dream" in Kunsthal Rotterdam (2017/2018).
