Kasteel van Bazoches

Het middeleeuwse Kasteel van Bazoches in de Morvan werd gebouwd in de twaalfde eeuw.
In 1675 werd Bazoches gekocht door Maarschalk Vauban, die van Koning Lodewijk XIV een toelage had gekregen na het beleg van Maastricht. Vauban vormede het kasteel om tot een militair garnizoen.

Chateau de Bazoches is situated in the Burgundy region (Morvan) of France. The Marshal de Vauban acquired in 1675 Bazoches. Vauban made there many fitting-outs and turned it into military garrison.
