Tell Me Your Story

Een boeiende tentoonstelling in KADE Amersfoort: 100 jaar Afrikaans-Amerikaanse kunst gebaseerd op Storytelling. Bijna 50 kunstenaars tonen de visueel overweldigende rijkdom van de zwarte cultuur.

Kunsthal Rotterdam presenteert een groots overzicht van imposante wandkleden naar ontwerpen van beroemde kunstenaars als Picasso, Le Corbusier, Miró, Vasarely en Louise Bourgeois.
Het grootste deel van de ruim zestig werken is vervaardigd in het historisch instituut ‘Manufacture des Gobelins’ in Parijs.

Kunsthal Rotterdam is presenting a large-scale retrospective of imposing tapestries based on designs by renowned artists like Pablo Picasso, Le Corbusier, Miró, Vasarely and Louise Bourgeois.
Most of the sixty works were produced at the historical institute ‘Manufacture des Gobelins’ in Paris.

A.R. Penck - How it works. Tentoonstelling in Kunstmuseum den Haag.
Penck (1939 – 2017) was na de Tweede Wereldoorlog een van de Duitse kwartiermakers van een nieuwe artistieke mentaliteit. Vandaag is hij vooral bekend om zijn Streichholzmännchen: een figuurtje met ledematen als harken. Na zijn vertrek uit de DDR in 1980, hanteert Pencks zijn grof gekwaste beeldtaal om uitdrukking te geven aan zijn afkeer van culturele en politieke systemen.

Penck (1939-2017) was one of the German artists who, after the Second World War, paved the way for a new artistic mindset. Today he is known above all for his Streichholzmännchen (‘matchstick men’): figures with limbs resembling rakes.
