Markus Lüpertz (1941) is een Duitse schilder en beeldhouwer /  is a German painter and sculptor.


Markus Lüpertz op ArtZuid 2015, een tweejaarlijkse beeldententoonstelling op de Apollolaan en de Minervalaan in Amsterdam Zuid.  At ArtZuid 2015, an international sculpture route in the streets of the Amsterdam Zuid/South.

Murano

Vlakbij Venetië ligt het eiland Murano. Beroemd om zijn glas.

De Saint Pierre van Brancion uit de 12e eeuw (Zuiden van Bourgondië) is een Romaans monument.
Hij bevat fraaie fresco's.

Zillis

In het centrum van het kleine dorpje Zillis (Graubünden, Zwitserland) staat de St. Martinskerk, wereldberoemd om zijn beschilderde plafond uit de 12e eeuw. Het plafond is volledig beschilderd met 153 voorstellingen en is praktisch intact gebleven.  Op de buitenste panelen worden fabelachtige figuren uitgebeeld, op de binnenste panelen het leven van Christus.

Martinskirche (St. Martin's Church) is found in the little village of Zillis in Graubuenden, Switzerland. The church is famous for its painted ceiling dating to the 12th century. The ceiling painting, which consists of 153 panels, is the only one in the world that is nearly completely preserved.  The outer panels depict mythical creatures, the inner panels the life of Christ.
