Alle Rembrandts

Ter gelegenheid van zijn 350ste sterfjaar in 2019 presenteert het Rijksmuseum voor het eerst in de geschiedenis een overzichtstentoonstelling van alle schilderijen, etsen en tekeningen van Rembrandt uit eigen collectie.

Rijksmuseum marks the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt’s death in 2019. The year-long celebration opens with ‘All the Rembrandts’, in which the Rijksmuseum will present for the first time an exhibition of all 22 paintings, 60 drawings and more than 300 best examples of Rembrandt’s prints in its collection.

Bauhaus

In 2019 is het honderd jaar geleden dat het Bauhaus werd opgericht, de revolutionaire kunst- en ontwerpschool waarvan de invloed nog steeds voelbaar is.
Voordat de renovatie van start gaat, pakt Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen nog één keer uit met de tentoonstelling ‘nederland ⇄ bauhaus – pioniers van een nieuwe wereld’. Met ruim 800 kunstwerken, meubels, keramiek, textiel, foto’s, typografie en architectuur. Moet je zien.

In 2019 is the centenary of the founding of the Bauhaus, the revolutionary art and design school whose influence can still be felt today.

Before commencing its large-scale renovations, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen pulls out all the stops with the exhibition ‘netherlands ⇄ bauhaus – pioneers of a new world’. Almost 800 objects – artworks, furniture, ceramics, textiles, photographs, typography and architectural drawings. Must see.

Rembrandt in Mauritshuis

In 2019 staat Nederland in het teken van Rembrandt (1606-1669) en de Gouden Eeuw. Aanleiding is de 350ste sterfdag van de beroemdste Hollandse Meester op 4 oktober 2019.
Het Mauritshuis heeft één van de belangrijkste collecties schilderijen van Rembrandt ter wereld.
Ter nagedachtenis aan de 350e sterfdag van de meester-schilder van de Gouden eeuw zijn alle 18 schilderijen te zien in het Mauritshuis.

In 2019 Rembrandt (1606-1669) and the Golden Age will take over the Netherlands. The reason is the 350th anniversary of the death of the most famous Dutch Master on October 4, 2019.
The Mauritshuis has one of the most renowned and important collections of paintings by Rembrandt in the world. The museum exhibits all of the eighteen paintings in the collection that are or have been attributed to Rembrandt.
