The Alba International Music Festival has brought many music enthusiasts to its acclaimed concerts in Piedmont, a beautiful region of Northern Italy. Many concerts take place in the ancient church of San Domenico (Saint Dominic), built around the end of the 13th century. All along the walls and vaults are frescoes of the medieval cycle of paintings, dating from the late fourteenth century.
