Nineveh

De tentoonstelling Nineveh in het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden neemt je mee naar de bloeitijd van de Nieuw-Assyrische hoofdstad Nineveh (vlakbij het huidige Mosul) in Noord-Irak, rond 700 voor Christus.

 The exhibition Nineveh - Heart of an Ancient Empire in The National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, takes you back to the heyday of the New Assyrian capital Nineveh (close to present Mosul) in what is now northern Iraq, around 700 BC.
