Museum Voorlinden wijdt een groot deel van het museum aan één kunstenaar: Britse kunstenaar Antony Gormley. Met zijn sculpturen, installaties en kunst in de openbare ruimte onderzoekt Gormley de relatie tussen het menselijk lichaam en de ruimte om ons heen. De overzichtstentoonstelling GROUND is binnen en buiten te zien. Hieronder een indruk van de beelden in de bossen en duinen rond het museum.

The major retrospective exhibition GROUND is on display inside and outside in the gardens of the museum. Bram Bogart

Bram Bogart
Museum Prinsenhof Delft toont een overzichtstentoonstelling van de internationaal bekende Delftse kunstenaar Bram Bogart (1921-2012), schilder van indrukwekkende dikke verflagen.

Met deze tentoonstelling wordt Bogart ruim honderd jaar na zijn geboorte geëerd in zijn geboortestad. Hij is de grondlegger van de Nederlandse informele schilderkunst en een groot voorbeeld voor de Delftse schilders Jan Schoonhoven en Jan Henderikse.


De tentoonstelling Bram Bogart. Schilder van formaat presenteert een dwarsdoorsnede uit het eigenzinnige oeuvre van Bogart, waarin de stad Delft altijd van grote betekenis is gebleven.

Jean Dubuffet

Een aantal jaren geleden stond er in de tuinen van het Rijksmuseum een mooie collectie beelden van
Jean Dubuffet (1901 - 1985). Ik haal ze hier nog eens terug voor een terugblik.

Few years ago Rijksmuseum Amsterdam exposed a collection of sculptures by French artist

Aelbert Cuyp

Idyllische landschappen met ruiters en koeien in nevelachtig zonlicht. Een tentoonstelling in Dordrechts Museum over Dordrechts beroemdste schilder Aelbert Cuyp (1620-1691) : 'In het licht van Cuyp. Aelbert Cuyp & Gainsborough – Constable – Turner'.  De tentoonstelling belicht de impact van Aelbert Cuyp op de Britse landschapschilderkunst en toont ook uitgebreid werk van Britse schilders die zich door Cuyp lieten inspireren.

The exhibition about Dordrecht’s most famous painter Aelbert Cuyp (1620-1691) is on view at the Dordrechts Museum. In the Light of Cuyp: Aelbert Cuyp & Gainsborough – Constable – Turner examines the impact of the Dutch master on British landscape painting. The exhibition also provides a broad overview of works by British painters inspired by the Dutch artist.
